I started this blog to document solutions to problems I’ve encountered in installing, configuring and optimizing Linux. It is as much for my own reference as for anyone else’s. I hope the posts are useful to most that read them, and if you encounter problems or have questions, please do contact me and I will help where possible. I’ve worked in I.T. for six years, and have covered a fairly broad range of technologies: MS SQL, MySQL, ASP, PHP, .NET (C#), Perl, Python, bash scripting, network load balancing. Experience in these areas provides the motivation for most of the topics on this blog.
